What is Thea System?

Thea System is part of the new "IES" (Integrated Energy System). It is a boiler that is hydraulically and electrically prepared for integration with air-to-water inverter heat pumps, solar thermal systems, and forced ventilation systems. This system allows for heating (underfloor and with radiators), cooling, and domestic hot water production, drastically reducing energy consumption. Everything is managed by an intelligent control unit, the "MEC" Multi Energy Control. It is the best solution for the creation of multi-energy systems.

Operation

The heat pump allows the heating system's water to be warmed by extracting heat naturally present outside and transferring it to the indoor environment. Using the same process, simply by reversing the operation, the heat pump can replace the air conditioner during the summer months. In more critical conditions, the heat pump may not be able to ensure the right level of comfort; in these cases, it becomes necessary to integrate the boiler with the heat pump, and it might even be more cost-effective to use only the boiler. This system can also be integrated with solar thermal energy for domestic hot water production. The "MEC" control unit allows the user to interact with a single interface, through which they can set the desired temperature.
